The month of April, leading up to World Wish Day, is a great opportunity to engage new and existing corporate partners! Depending on the relationship you have with each partner, they may choose to activate in a fundraising capacity or instead choose to support by spreading awareness (like sharing the PSA on their social media channels or adding a banner on their website). Though this is a wonderful opportunity to kick off a large-scale, themed fundraising campaign with a partner, remember that no ask is too small; if a corporate partner prefers to limit their activation to simply sharing the PSA on their social media channels, this is still a win!
Corporate partner activations are encouraged throughout the month of April leading up to World Wish Day, but please remember: Make-A-Wish as a global organization has committed to “all hands on deck” globally on World Wish Day. Affiliates will be expected to hold 29 April on social media and PR to kick off Disney’s Aladdin campaign.
What this means is we are asking affiliates and chapters to hold off promoting any other corporate campaigns on this day. Affiliates are welcome to share information around World Wish Day, Chris’ founding wish, and individual fundraising initiatives. The only limitation is promoting other corporate campaigns on this day.
